    When the account owner is assigned The owner is added to the virtual team

    Virtual Team - Opportunities

    When an opportunity is created Virtual team members from the associated account are copied over

    When an opportunity owner is added from the Partners tab The new owner is added to the virtual team
    When an opportunity owner changed from Partners tab The old user in the virtual team will be replaced by the new changed owner

    Virtual Team - Quotes

    When a quote is created Virtual team members from the associated account are copied over

    This section applies to Account, Opportunities and Quote.

    The owner is added to the virtual team

    Who receives the email

    • Notes tab in each record display the Virtual Team below notes so that the user knows who will be notified
    • The user posting the note does not receive an email notification
    • User can mute self, to not receive a notification at a user level or else by the record.

    What changes trigger an email

    • User note
    • Ability to write a system note (which triggers an email to the virtual team excluding the muted members), to cover the below use cases

    Log Email sent to Approver

    When sending approval emails, a record with the reason, name, and time stamp will be logged in the Quote under the 'Notes' tab. This is to ensure the submitter is rested and assured that the email is sent with the ability to follow up with the right person. Based on the approval flow, after L1 approval, an approval email will be sent to L2 VP Gate.
