Copy Quote
In B2B sales, there are more than 6 to 10 decision-makers involved which leads to longer negotiations as well as corrections. This leads to a repeat loop, where for the same deal multiple quotes are created. so instead of starting from scratch, there is a huge gain in efficiency by taking an existing quote and making a copy. The place that we differentiate is that you can change the account in the copy process, so a winning quote created for a customer could be your starting point for the next similar customer.
The overview fields, custom tab with custom fields, and line-item data including configuration, proposal text, and pricing details are copied.
Setting Boolean - Price Condition
The user(s) may also provide a boolean setting to decide if the price items with price condition = 0 should be copied. Go to 'Administration' > 'Setting Boolean' > 'Enable this setting to copy manual price items with base amount as zero' > toggle 'YES' or 'NO'
Here is an example where the Boolean Setting is set to 'No', price items with price conditions=0 are not copied over:

- Attachment Copy: Users can seamlessly copy quotes with attachments at the header and item levels.
- Customizable Activation: Authorized users can activate or deactivate this feature using a Boolean setting “Enable the automatic copying of attachments when copying a quote and quote line item”.
Performance
In case the quote is very large, you can also run this process in the background by selecting "Create in Background".
Text Restore
The quote language controls decide the text defaulted in the Proposal text. With this feature, it allows the changing of the quote language and the downstream to restore text on Sales Item and Proposal text efficiently. The user(s) can multi-select and restore from the master template.
When the user(s) click on the Proposal tab, the formatted text of the first row is shown, reducing one click. This feature can be hidden using UI Profile On quote create add Quote Language.
In the Digital Sales Platform, go to 'Administration' > 'Master Data Management' > 'Setting Boolean' > 'If on the application will use plain text editor for proposal attributes' > toggle 'Yes'
Select the desired item(s) and click on the 'Reset' icon.
Select 'Yes' to reset the template to its default and the changes will automatically reflect.
Proposal Generation
When details of the quote has been firmed up and approved, a proposal can be generated and downloaded for the customer. This can be done in various languages as available (see "Templates" for more information) and does not affect the quote language.
