How do we know if the error message is a Backend Server Error?
If you see the following notification “An unexpected error occurred”, it means that the error occurred on the backend server.
To check the server error, open the cloud cockpit, go to the respective system, and download the server log.
And look for the last exception in the server log, as you can see in the following example:
These are the Logging Levels:
- ERROR level is the default log.
- TRACE level is the MOST detailed log.
- DEBUG level is less detailed as TRACE.
In order to change the log level in the SAP cloud platform cockpit, the class must be executed at least once. Otherwise, it will not show on the logger list.
