Customisation and personalisation of the Commerce portal makes it possible for account owners to enhance the eCommerce experience, tailored to their end-users.
A Commerce System Administrator (See "Commerce User Management" for additional information), is able to configure the Commerce portal by incorporating brand elements (e.g. using corporate logos, descriptions), configuring screens, offering product filters, embedding additional links, and more. This is done within the Commerce Administration application, accessed by logging into the Commerce portal and clicking 'User Profile Picture' > 'Commerce Administration':
A new browser tab will be opened with the Commerce Administration application loaded.
Under ‘Global Settings’, the Commerce System Administrator can maintain general information such as company name, logos, adjust the theming and control header, and footer information.

This can be maintained in 'Commerce Administration' > 'Global Settings' > 'Theming':
Create a Theme
The Commerce portal comes with a default theme. If a new theme is desired, click on ‘add’ which will load a new theme based on the one currently in effect:
A name for the new theme can be provided, together with respective colors and opacity (HEX, RGB or RGBA) adjusted, and font selected:
Icons used for various buttons can be customised as well, with the upload of SVG files:
Should that not be preferred, the system default can always be reverted to.
Similarly, the default placeholder image for Equipment, Products, and Category can be modified:
Click 'Create' to preserve the custom theme.
Click on ‘Apply Theme’ for the chosen colours, font, and icons to be reflected in the Commerce portal:
Global Settings: Header Navigation
The Header Navigation contains the corporate image (which also functions as a link to the Home/Landing Page), navigational links to equipment, spare parts, consumables and more, together with the ability to change the language and access the user profile.
Some navigation tabs are pre-delivered, but much flexiblity is provided for re-sequencing of navigational links, creation of new links, embedding of external applications or localisation of links to different languages. For details on setting up and extending the header navigation bar, see "Commerce Administration: Manage Header Navigation" for additional information.
Global Settings: Footer
The Footer area in Commerce allows for important information to be included and easily accessible to users when browsing the product catalogue. Customisation of the footer area is allowed, providing flexibility to add and update relevant information which may not be specific-product-related.
Information can be maintained in 'Commerce Administration' > 'Global Settings' > 'Footer'. Details are structured into 3 sections:
The sequence of the links can be changed by dragging and dropping the respective table rows. Links under 'Additional Links' can be set to open in the current or new browser tab. Localisation options are available as well.
For localisation of other elements of the footer, such as section headings, see "Localisation" for more information.
