    Sales Solution Configurator (SSC) / SAP LOVC

    • The pricing is through the SSC engine based on the Variant Configuration (LO-VC) model maintained in ERP

    • All configuration & pricing run in SSC (100% ERP Configuration and pricing)

    External Pricing

    • External pricing is done with the help of pricing simulation in the ERP system. All the price-related information such as pricing procedures, condition tables, condition types, and access sequences is maintained in the ERP system. It involves a Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI) call with parameters maintained in the Digital Sales Platform. BAPI returns the pricing of each of the sales items and the whole quotation together with the breakdown of each sales item's pricing.

    • Customers who want to use pricing from SAP ERP but Configuration Model is created in IMC. External Pricing offers them penny-perfect pricing from ERP

    • We make an order simulate call (sending all data from Quote), which simulates the order in ERP - and bring back the price items from ERP such as shipping or tax.

    • The sales rep can add manual price conditions (source = CPQ) to overwrite the values or give additional discounts for example, as part of quote negotiations. Order is created based on the negotiated price.

    Internal Pricing

    • Internal pricing is based on the pricing scheme and pricing steps maintained in the Digital Sales Platform system.

    • Customers who run in cost-plus pricing or who do not want or cannot maintain their pricing in their ERP can use In Mind Cloud's costing and pricing engine.

    • The internal pricing scheme - is very close to how SAP works. We support multiple active pricing procedures. Pricing procedure is determined based on Sales Org, Distribution channel, Division.

    • The pricing scheme has pricing steps with an access sequence so that an accurate price can be determined (from more specific to generic).

    • Lookup tables are used to maintain prices or discounts and can be replicated from ERP as well.

    • Pricing steps of type aggregate to calculate the total of child items. Also, formulas based to calculate KPIs like margins are supported as an example:

    Enforced Price Calculation and Save

    A significant enhancement to our system, providing users with more control over the pricing and saving process. The introduction of the "Force Price Calculation and Save Together" setting allows for a streamlined experience when managing quotes.

    • New Configuration Setting:  We've introduced a new Boolean configuration setting called "Force Price Calculation and Save Together," offering enhanced flexibility in the pricing and saving workflow.
    • Functionality: When the "Force Price Calculation and Save Together" setting is set to "True," the system will seamlessly suppress the external pricing popup, ensuring a more efficient process of Price Calculation and Save. In scenarios where both the “Disable pop-up of External Pricing” and “Force Price Calculation and Save Together” settings are set to “True,” the application will automatically Calculate Pricing and Save without displaying a popup, further streamlining the workflow.
