Once a Commerce user has received the email with a link to the Commerce application and logon credentials, the user can execute the login:
After a successful login, the landing page is displayed, comprising of the following sections:
- Header Navigation
- Landing Page Banners
- Search Bar
- Floating Action Buttons
- Previously Ordered/Inquired Products
- Favourite Products
The Header Navigation contains the corporate logo (which also functions as a link to the Home/Landing Page), navigational links to equipment, spare parts, consumables and more, together with the ability to change the language and access the user profile.
Some navigation tabs are pre-delivered, but much flexiblity is provided for re-sequencing of navigational links, creation of new links, embedding of external applications or localisation of links to different languages. For details on setting up and extending the header navigation bar, see "Commerce Administration: Manage Header Navigation" for additional information.
Landing Page Banners
To enhance the Commerce experience of users with a variety of welcome signages, informational announcements or promotions, the landing page banner allows for the rendering of multiple images and videos as a slide show at the top of the homepage in the Commerce portal.
Various components of the landing page banner, such as background image, text and button links can be configured and personalised.

Right below the landing page banner is a prominent Search Bar, facilitating quick access to products, for experienced users who know what they are specifically looking for in the Commerce portal.
The Search Bar supports type-ahead search against product IDs, product names and product labels:
Users are prompted with Recent Search History as well, especially useful for frequent users:

Floating Action Buttons
Floating Action Buttons on the right-edge of the screen enable users to quickly access screens with more details of the following information:
Previously Ordered/Inquired Products
Users are presented with a quick view of products that they had previously ordered or inquired about, for direct access to relevant product information, together with the option of easily adding it to cart for order again at the click of a button:
Some products may be of special interest to users and can be marked as a favourite, using the 'heart' icon on the individual product card or product detail page. These items marked as 'Favourite' are presented in this section of the homepage:
Clicking on either 'Favourites' at the of the head of the row, or the 'heart' floating action button on the right-edge of the screen, users are directed to a screen where all products marked as favourite are listed:
The footer area in Commerce allows for important information to be included and easily accessible to users when browsing the product catalogue. Customisation of the footer area is allowed, providing flexibility to add and update relevant information which may not be specifically product-related.
