Product catalogues of manufacturing companies are extensive, and manoeuvring through it to find the right product can be extremely difficult. The Commerce portal provides various options to for users to overcome this challenge, making for a pleasant purchasing experience.
Right below the landing page banner on the homepage of the Commerce portal is a prominent Search Bar, facilitating quick access to products, for experienced users who know what they are specifically looking for in the Commerce portal.
The Search Bar supports type-ahead search against product IDs, product names and product labels:
Users are prompted with Recent Search History as well, especially useful for frequent users:
Floating Action Buttons on the right-edge of the screen enable users to quickly access screens with more details. Click on the icon to be directed to the 'Advanced Search' page where items suggested in the type-ahead search function can be added directly into the cart by clicking on the icon :
Search results can be further refined through filter options available on the left-side of the page:

Navigation via Product Categories
Using Header Navigation links can be an efficient way for users to browse extensive product catalogues that have been neatly categorised. Users can click into product (sub-)categories and use relevant product filters shown on the left-side of the page to further refine the search:

Navigation via Equipment
Equipment and its sub-components registered under an Account can be easily accessed by users within that Account. (See "Introduction to Equipment" for more information)
Accessed from the Header Navigation, a list of equipment will be shown, where users can use the search bar and relevant product filters on the left-side of the page to further refine the search:
Users can choose to click on either the equipment image or '>' icon and drill down further to the (sub-)equipment Bill-of-Material (BOM), where sub-components (products) of the equipment would be listed. From there, users can similarly use relevant product filters shown on the left-side of the page to further refine the search:
Equipment, as well as associated sub-equipment and sub-components, with the button have been set up with a visual product finder that aids further navigation.

Navigation via Visual Product Finder
Products with the button have been set up with a visual product finder. Clicking it will lead to a screen displaying images of the product with its sub-components indicated using hotspots:
Hovering the mouse over a numbered hotspot would highlight the corresponding product in the list of sub-components on the right of the image. Clicking the numbered hotspot would select the corresponding item listed, which can then be easily added to cart. Quantities of these items can be adjusted from the cart during the checkout process.
Sub-components with its own button have been set up with its own visual product finder separately as well. Users can easily drill down to more detailed sub-components of an equipment by clicking the button which will direct them to the sub-component's visual product finder. Click the confirmation button to proceed:

Related products are shown in the ‘You May Also Like’ section at the bottom of the product detail page and cart screen, suggesting relevant or recommended products based on the product that users are currently viewing or have added to cart.
This can be useful in engaging customers to make additional purchases and can be configured to spike users' interest whilst they are browsing products or going through the checkout process.
