Commerce is a key element for Digital Sales Platform, by adding Commerce capabilities next to CRM and CPQ. All three (3) applications resemble In Mind Cloud's vision of a true manufacturing experience platform that runs on our Three-in-One architecture:
All three (3) applications use a consolidated set of APIs and access the same database. User queries/transactions are handled by separate application servers allowing for adequate performance while optimally using resources. While CRM and CPQ leverage SAPUI5 to render the user interface, the Commerce application uses the state-of-the-art Material UI. As indicated in User & Access Management, different (i.e. separate) users can be created, depending on the application context. Especially for Commerce use cases, customer contacts can be provisioned users as well which is further described in the section ‘Commerce User Management’.
