Orders are now accessible to sales representatives to complement the account 360 information available in CRM, allowing sales representatives to get a better understanding of the entire online buying history.
The Commerce business administrator has an additional tab on the Order History view to also display the orders that have been placed by others. This will allow them to pick up that order, review it and then decide whether it needs to be amended, rejected or is one that they can proceed with.
Orders in state ‘Pending Review’ can now be placed, amended or rejected by the administrator.
- Place Order: the order will be placed as is and the administrator will be rendered a success message if the order was correctly placed. A respective email notification is sent to the user who created the order in the first place.
- Amend and Review: the user will be redirected to a screen similar to the checkout screen where products can be removed and quantities can be changed before placing the order. Refer to 'Process Overview: Checkout Process' for additional information. A respective email notification is sent to the user who created the order in the first place.
- Reject: The order will not be placed. A respective email notification is sent to the user who created the order in the first place.
